I drew this methods flow chart for the Ross Lab and their article in the The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, titled, Application of Nucleic Acid-Based Strategies to Detect Infectious Pathogens in Orthopaedic Implant-Related Infection. I included a pack of well-matched icons for each of the techniques.
