I designed 3D printed lamp shades for our living room. This was my first time using AI to help write OpenScad code. There were aspects of the code that Claude excelled at, and other parts that were faster to do myself. But it was a fruitful collaboration, and I wouldn't have succeeded at this complex of a design with out using Claude. I made 4 different sizes of shades, and by the last two, the code was working well enough that the shades looked perfect on the first print and no edits were necessary.
