As an example to help a journalism client understand the options for interactive images on the web, I whipped up this example in Adobe Animate. Click here to see it. It uses some insect drawings I had already, and shows how the animations can respond to the user's mouse hovering and clicking. Adobe Animate HTML5 Canvases use HTML and Javascript. Thus, their deployment is really flexible. In this example, I've inserted them into a WordPress site.
