Dr. Peter Luykx's new book, The Patchwork Human, contains many photos and historical artwork that add color to the writing. Part of my job was to find images that were legally available and, where necessary, edit them. For chapter 19, Dr. Luykx needed a photo of an extinction-level asteroid hitting a ranch in the western USA. Here is the final image:
This image is actually a composite of many images. Most are in the public domain, with the exception of the Bagg House, which required citation.
I also drew the diagrams for this book.

Thanks for posting this. I was looking to order my dad’s book from the publisher and I found this. Your drawings were great. My dad had been working on that book for more than 10 years when it was finally published. thank you so much for being part of it
